Chișinău, 26 September 2014. Banca Comercială Română Chișinău S.A. has joined Fruit Challenge Moldova campaign and has donated 1 ton of locally produced apples to several institutions taking care of children and older people.
”Through our involvement in Fruit Challenge Moldova campaign our aim is to make a contribution for the support of socially vulnerable persons who need healthy food. By making this donation of fruits, we express as well our solidarity with the local producers of quality fruits and call other organisations and institutions from the Republic of Moldova to participate in this campaign, which was initiated at the end of August 2014, ,” said Juan Luis Martin Ortigosa, Chief Executive Officer at BCR Chișinău S.A.
BCR Chișinău S.A. has purchased fruits and has donated them to several institutions: a kindergarten for care of hearing impaired children, an orphanage and a home for older people. This action is part of Banca Comercială Română Chișinău S.A. corporate social responsibility program oriented to an active involvement in social and cultural live of the Republic of Moldova and to support several social projects in the field of social solidarity and education.
