EBA Moldova participated at the Moldo-Austrian Forum, organized with the occasion of the official visit of the President of Austria, Mr. Heinz Fischer, in Republic of Moldova, during 16-17th of November.
At the Forum participated about 30 Austrian companies, like Baren Batterie Gmbh, Cargo-patner GmbH, Habau Hoch und Tiefbau GmbH, Hobas Rohre GmbH, Siemens AG Osterreich si altii.
The Economic Mission of the businessmen of Austria in Republic of Moldova was organized by the Embassy of Austria in Romania, headed by the Vicepresident of the Economic Chamber of Austria, Richard Schenz, who had a speech at the inauguration of the Forum, along with the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Valeriu Lazar.
Among the participants at the event were also the Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure, Vasile Botnari, the Deputy Prime-Minister, Minister of Economy, Adrian Candu and Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vasile Bumacov who spoke about projects and possibilities of investment in the sectors of infrastructure, energy and agriculture.
In his speech, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Valeriu Lazar spoke about the economic development of the country as a whole and the investment opportunities of Republic of Moldova.
In the context of the program took also place a networking session between businessmen from Austria and participating economic agents from Republic of Moldova.
