The EBA is concerned about the recent political developments, which may deteriorate the business and investment environment and discourage EU investors from stepping onto the Moldovan market.
The local and foreign investors are behind the prospected economic growth and development of the country, and in case of new and lasting political instability their investment appetite may be redirected to other markets.
The EBA members are interested in continuation of the initiated reforms, continuation of fight against corruption, reform of the judiciary system, fulfilling the obligations the Republic of Moldova had undertaken towards the EU and in financial-economic stability.
The EBA members will continue to support such efforts.
