EBA organized a reception on 27th of September 2017, to bid welcome to the new Head of EU Delegation in Moldova, and the Honorary President of European Business Association, H.E. Mr. Peter Michalko.
Our members and partners had the occasion to discuss with the new Ambassador about the business environment in Moldova and further support from EU Delegation. Mr. Peter Michalko declared that it is a priority for European Union to be part of the business development in Moldova and to support the process of the reform, so that the business sector in our country can progress without obstacles. EU Ambassador has also highly appreciated the great effort of EBA executive team and its members for their active participation in the national level PPD platforms as well as the structural reforms in which EBA has inputted with concrete legal proposals. As such EBA contribution in improving labor code, control and inspection legislation, waste management, tax policy development, have been highly valued.
EBA expressed sincere gratitude to its new Honorary President and looks forward to a mutual collaboration towards reinforcing the business environment in the Republic of Moldova.
