With USAID and Swedish Government support, BSOs are enhancing their executive skills

On March 30, with grant support by USAID and the Swedish Government, the Moldova Competitiveness Project beneficiaries participated in a new practical workshop delivered by EBA, oriented towards the executive teams of the biggest sectorial business support organisations (BSOs) in Moldova.

Insights on strategic planning for BSOs were delivered by Henrik Kuffner, EBA Senior Advisor, and Mariana Rufa, EBA Executive Director. They have presented strategies based on the EBA experience and itsmain areas of activity. They coached the executive teams of diverse sectorial associations on delivering useful and best strategic measures to fulfill the prime needs of their members. Other topics touched upon were the key approaches in associations and the basic documents that should be created and permanently updated.

The participants have reiterated that such a workshop is useful for both the associations that are at the very first stages of development, and for the already established ones. EBA will continue to deliver practical workshops focused on enhancing the practical skills of project beneficiaries in terms of lobby and advocacy.

This event is organised by EBA with the support of Moldova Competitiveness Project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).
