In the period 18th-20st of June, EBA Moldova participated at the Annual European Business Organisations (EBO) Worldwide Network Annual Meeting that took place in Brussels, Belgium.
During the meeting, reports were delivered on the current status of a series of initiatives delivered under DG GROWTH, DG JUST and DEVCO on SMEs internationalization, SMEs financing support, cluster development and GDPR implemebtation. EBO WWN Members also met with high officials from DG Growth, European Parliament, DG Enterprise and Industry, Business Europe, AMFORI, etc.
The EBO WWN Members have also focussed on a number if issues related to FTAs implementation at country level and issues that local and international businesses are facing in this regard.
EU institutions have also shared their strategies and actions undertaken to facilitate the expansion of european businesses on third markets. Key priorities for expansion and support have been presented and described.
The EBO WWN Annual meeting was attended by representatives from 32 countries having active trade relations with EU.
EBA Moldova was represented by Mariana Rufa, EBA Executive President.
