EBA Moldova participated in the first discussions organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova regarding the establishment of the Business Ombudsman.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the vision both of the presidential institution and the business community on the status of the Business Ombudsman, the tasks and attributions related to this function, the criteria for selecting the candidates, as well as other conceptual aspects on this topic.
We would like to mention that the initiative came as a result of the suggestions presented by the business environment during the meeting with Mr. Igor Dodon, President of the Republic of Moldova on July 18, 2019.
