On 6th of February, EBA organized a Business Breakfast with Mr. Ion Ceban, General Mayor of Chisinau.
Goal of this kind of events is to manifest as platform for EBA members to communicate their issues with key state authorities representatives.
Mr. Laszlo Diosi, EBA President, mentioned that the privte sector is interested in working with the Chisinau City Hall in order to contribute to the development of the municipality, to creating new jobs and attracting investments.
In this regard EBA came with the proposal to create an Economic Council to the Chisinau City Hall.
Sectors of activity of private sector that participated in the discussions and expressed their concerns: Insurance, Retail, Production of construction materials, Food and beverages, Advertisement services.
Concerns that have been underlined by the participants:
- location of advertising
- development of road infrastructure and sewerage
- street trade
- public transport
- the need for an efficient cooperation with the City Hall employees
