The UNDP Black Sea Trade and Investment Promotion Program is organizing Agro-Logistics business forum. Which will take place in Istanbul on November 23 during the Southeast Europe Business forum.

The Forum is focused not only for the Agro segment in the Logistics sector but also to both supply and demand sides of it.

Attendees: companies from 12 EU and non-EU countries, namely: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine and others.

Agro-Logistics Forum is targeted to:

  • logistics providers,
  • agricultural manufacturers,
  • processing companies, ports,
  • IT and technology providers,
  • equipment manufacturers,
  • exporters/importers,
  • freight-forwarding companies,
  • and certifying bodies.

Objectives of the Event:

  • business collaboration in cross-country level;
  • showcase technology and services related to agriculture logistics;
  • offer solutions for companies that seek to respond to the increasing market demand;
  • provide information to about best transportation services providers & logistics companies.

Methodology of the Forum:

  • One hour opening session with representatives from all the involved parties;
  • Two technical presentations on actual topics:
    1. Reducing costs - intelligent Agro-Logistics;
    2. Sustainable food chains with logistics optimization.
  • Business-2-Business Networking session - arranged on the basis of a prior screening in order to find:
    1. new clients and international partners;
    2. platform for business opportunities;
    3. joint-ventures;
    4. transfer of know-how and information exchange.
