On February 27th EBA organized a matchmaking visit for the members and representatives of Techno Textile Hub Soroca to Iasi, Romania.
The matchmaking visit aimed at supporting member`s cluster to expand exports to the EU market and learn from the experience of Romanian companies on how to cooperate with famous world brands in textile and garment industry. Moldovan companies also learned practical expertise on the audit procedures delivered by international companies before launching a contract. They learned about modern technologies and innovative equipment used in textile and garment industry which is prerequisite for extension in international market. Moldovan companies were also provided with detailed information on certification and accreditation procedures which is a priority condition for internationalization.
This event is organized by the European Business Association with the financial support of the European Union and co-financed by the Swedish Government through the East European Foundation within the project “Civil Society contributes to the economic and social development of the country”.
