On June 28th EBA Moldova jointly with AmCham Moldova organized a meeting with Mrs. Maia Sandu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The meeting was dedicated to presenting the Prime Minister mandate priorities with the view to the private sector as well as to create the opportunities for businesses to express their challenges and concerns regarding the current business climate in the RM.
The meeting was attended by more than 130 businesses representing both associations.
Before the meeting with Prime Minister, EBA Moldova has developed a Business Climate Briefing together with a list of priorities identified by business community to be considered by Parliament and Government. These documents were also sent to the European Commission and European Parliament for consideration.
Some of the issues have been more elaborated within the meeting with the Prime Minister Sandu, covering such areas as: judiciary and rule of law, transparent and applicable legislation for renewable energy development, a list of taxation related priorities, food safety and quality infrastructure development in the area of animal health, waste management , education sector etc.
