MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING on the establishment of the European Platform for Regional Businesses was signed between EBA Moldova and 6 regional business support organizations

On 21st of May a MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING on the establishment of the European Platform for Regional Businesses was signed between EBA Moldova and 6 regional business support organizations: 

1. The CSO ProEntranse (Business Hub Soroca;

2. The CSO for children and youth "Făclia" (Business Hub Ungheni);

3. The CSO Pro Regional Cooperation (Business Hub Balti),

4. The Innovation Development Agency (Business Hub Transnistria);

5. The Business Association from ATU Gagauzia “NEXT” (Business Hub Gagauzia);

6. The CSO Orhei Regional Agency of Sustainable Development (Business Hub Orhei). 

The goal of this platform is the promotion, development and strengthening of the business environment and ensure a better representation of the voices of busineses in the regionsthrough joint networking events, technical meetings, workshops, seminars and other events. The main objective of the platform is to provide support and exchange of experience in such areas as capacity building, business support and promotion of the best European standards and practices related to the entrepreneurial activity, support in AA/DCFTA implementation and of course to ensure the mutual cooperation in donors projects, especially aimed at private sector development.

The platform was created with the financial support of the European Union and co-financed by the Sweden through East Europe Foundation within the Project “Local civil society contributes to economic and social development of Moldova.”

H.E. Mr. Peter Michalko congratulated the new created platform and together with H.E. Ambassador of Sweden in Moldova, Mrs Anna Lyberg handed over the Certificates to the Hubs.

Mr. Sorin Mereacre, President of East Europe Foundation, congratulated the Business Hubs reiterating the importance of sustainability and functioning of the Platform launched under the umbrella of EBA and the importance of representing the voice of regional businesses for strengthening the policy making process.
