20.09.2017 - EBA participated in a meeting within Economic Council, on regulation of waste incineration and co-incineration operations in the Law on wastes, in effect as of December 2017.
Our Lobby & Policy Manager, Ecaterina Chirilenco, highlighted over the meeting in the Economic Council that it is inherent to the implementation of the EPR (extended producer responsibility) principle and could bring more economic benefits due to alternative energy sources exploitation, under a regulated procedure in line with environmental protection standards.
