On September 22nd 2017, EBA participated in a meeting within Economic Council, regarding the reform of the sanctioning system in the economic area. Representatives of the business sector stated that infringements from economic area should not have criminal consequences, pointing out that the present penalties are targeting a range of contraventions that is too broad.
