On 6th of March 2018, EBA Moldova in partnership with the Competition Council organized a Round Table on the topic: „Taking commitments in case of anti-competitive practices and cartels - an European tool provided by the competition law”. The meeting was attended by the President of the Competition Council, Ms. Viorica Cărare, legal experts in the area of competition and representatives of EBA members.
The purpose of the meeting consisted in presenting the legal framework referring to the concept of engagements. Also, EBA members had the opportunity to address questions and ongoing concerns/proposals regarding the existing Code of best practices on the relationship between retail networks and suppliers in the context with the provisions of the new draft law on internal trade, soon to be adopted.
