Back in Action with EBA

On February 2nd, EBA members and partners gathered in a cosy atmosphere to network and discuss the EBA agenda for 2017.

The event began with a speech from EBA President, Mr. Thomas Moser who, together with EBA executive director Mariana Rufa, informed those present on the progress made so far and the upcoming activities of the association. The speech was completed by EBA Honorary President, Mr. Pirkka Tapiola, who commented on the statements about the future of the Association Agreement and explained that the opinion polls are showing increasing support, with 64% of export going to the European market, with volumes going up. He added that even though the amount of workforce is short, there are emigrants willing to come home, given the right chance. His Excellency congratulated EBA members for being such an united voice for the private sector, and encouraged EBA to continue putting pressure for real reforms and anticorruption fight.
