Press Release Summer School 2014

The goal of the 5th Summer School was to organize field visits, at 6 international companies, specifically: Gas Natural Fenosa, Moldcell,Gebauer & Griller (Bălți), Banca Comercială Română, Mobias Banca, EFES Vitanta.

The 30 young entrepreneurs had the possibility to participate in the discussions with the managers and directors of companies, to receive the best lessons and recommendations in different areas, to address questions regarding the difficulties they are facing with in their own businesses. The mentors came with a feedback and,based on some case studies, presentations and discussions they gave solutions to concrete situations described by the entrepreneurs. The areas discussed during the summer school were: human resources, efficiency of IT systems, production management, banking system and relations with the bank, internet banking etc.

"In order to become the best and to perform, I need practical experience, examples from real business, to find out about lessons and achievements of other companies. The EBA summer and winter schools gave me this possibility" mentioned Valeriu Rata, a young entrepreneur managing a rabbit farm involved in a rabbit farming business.

Dumitru Lungu, another entrepreneur that has a business in the IT industry, namely e-learning courses, specified that he participated at the EBA schools for the 5th time "anyway, each time I find out something new about new practices, I find new clients and generally consider that it is a very good initiative, an useful practice implemented by EBA in collaboration with ANTIM."

"For me the summer school was an impetus for understanding better the production systems, but the most important is the fact that I met new people, I established contacts with other entepreneurs with whom we could collaborate in future. I will enjoy participating to other initiatives launched by EBA and ANTIM for young entepreneurs, in the mean time recommending them to other collegues" mentioned Ion Poparcea, who holds a farm of quails.
