Technical meeting of the Regulatory Framework Committee chaired by Mr. Oleg Efrim, EFRIM ROŞCA Asociații

On 15th of March 2019, at EBA premises took place the first meeting of the Regulatory Framework Committee, chaired by Mr. Oleg Efrim, EFRIM ROŞCA Asociații, aimed to present the main issues related to the regulation of the business environment activity, as well as to collect additional deficiencies encountered by the EBA Members.

EBA supports Techno Textile Hub (TTH) Soroca in increasing exports on EU market

On February 27th EBA organized a matchmaking visit for the members and representatives of Techno Textile Hub Soroca to Iasi, Romania. The matchmaking visit aimed at supporting member`s cluster to expand exports to the EU market and learn from the experience of Romanian companies on how to cooperate with famous world brands in textile and garment industry.

On February 8, 2018 EBA Moldova, jointly with AmCham Moldova, organized a Business Breakfast with H.E. Mr. Peter Michalko, Head of EU Delegation to Moldova and H.E. Mr. Dereck J. Hogan, US Ambassador to Moldova. The purpose of the event was to ensure an open and active dialogue between the private sector and the two Ambassadors: Mr. Michalko and Mr. Hogan, regarding the issues and challenges expressed by the business environment.

EBA Achievement

In the context of solving the deficiency regarding the illegal taxes charged by National Agency for Food Safety for the food safety control at the border, at the joint request of EBA Moldova and the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova a series of technical meetings were organized with the participation of the representatives of the National Agency for Food Safety, Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Economic Council to the Prime Minister and Center for Implementation of Reforms.

The production and the export of walnuts and nut products is a strategic area of activity in Moldova, as the demand for walnuts worldwide is constantly increasing and Moldovan walnuts have successfully accessed the European market.
