The rating and evaluation agency EVM Group (Estimator-VM) has reconfirmed the leading position of CB Moldova Agroindbank, ranking it first in its efficiency rating of commercial banks for 2015.
According to the rating, drawn up on the basis of indices for 2015, Moldova Agroindbank achieved the best results in terms of total income and net income. Thus, in 2015 MAIB reported 378.5 million lei in net income, the highest in the local banking system, producing a return on sales (ROS) of 18.51% and return on equity (ROE) of 13.98%, according to the EVM methodology.
Outpacing by far all the other 10 banks in Moldova, CB Moldova Agroindbank reconfirmed its irrefutable position of leader of Moldova’s banking system, which it has been holding for years.
Thus, as of 31.12.2015, Moldova Agroindbank held a share of 26.3% of all assets in the banking sector, 28.7% of all loans, 27.8% of all deposits, including 30.1% of private deposits. The results are largely due to the high credibility Moldova Agroindbank enjoys from its customers as the safest and most powerful bank.
