REFORM AGENDA for Business - an initiative implemented by EBA in partnership with USAID MISRA (Moldova PRO Reforme)
EBA continues to contribute to the capacity building of companies in the regions by providing support in understanding and implementing reforms in the context of Moldova's integration into the European Union. In this regard, EBA, in partnership with central and local public institutions as well as leading experts supported by the USAID Moldova Institutional and Structural Reforms in Moldova (MISRA) program, will provide the necessary expertise to facilitate this process in such areas as:
- Customs procedures;
- Trade Facilitation;
- Digital tools for business.
To this end, over the next six months, information sessions will be organized for entrepreneurs from 10 regions of the country. The beneficiaries of these meetings will mainly include regional companies as well as representatives of local NGOs, local public authorities, media and other stakeholders.
"In order to ensure a qualitative legislative transposition, it is imperative to involve business from all over the country through information and active participation in the process of harmonization of the legal framework, as well as guidance in its implementation" - said Mariana Rufa, EBA CEO.
"We appreciate the partnership with EBA Moldova, an association with a vast experience, which actively supports not only large companies, but also small and medium enterprises at the regional level. We are convinced that the regional sessions will significantly contribute to the skills development of local companies, enabling them to actively participate in the EU integration process in a practical way in order to benefit from the opportunities offered by the European market", said David Anderson, Head of MISRA program.
