On March 14, EBA Moldova community had a meeting with Mr. Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova.
The private sector highly appreciated the efforts of the current government in managing the various crises facing the Republic of Moldova, as well as welcomed all the actions and reforms aimed at the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU. In the light of the mentioned, a series of reforms that require urgent and finalization for the purpose of an urgent implementation were listed, such as:
- Consolidation of actions in the implementation of the reform regarding vetting and pre-vetting;
- Defining and implementing environmental reforms, directly completing/implementing the REP economic mechanism and its application;
- Ensuring predictability and extensive consultation on Fiscal Policy proposals, including topics such as green tax policy in agendas;
- Stimulation of the renewable industry;
- And of course the digitization of public services.
