Workshop: GDPR-effect on businesses

On the 19th of April Grant Thornton Moldova in partnership with EBA Moldova organized a workshop ”GDPR- effect on businesses in Moldova”.

The objective of the event consisted in the presentation of the business environment of the main provisions and the general requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation, which is due to come into force on 25th of May 2018, as well as the amendments to be made to the legislation in force as regards the protection of personal data in RM in the context of the GDPR.

At the same time, Grant Thornton Moldova has submitted the basic steps that need to be undertaken by private-sector companies in the context of the adjustment of its activity in accordance with the GDPR.
