The conference dedicated to the Enlargement Report, organized by the Bureau for European Integration with the participation of Ms. Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, and the entire cabinet of ministers led by Mr. Alexandru Munteanu, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, created a unique platform for presenting the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on its European path in the stage preceding negotiations with the EU.
The achievements in all six clusters were presented, with remarkable results in the areas of customs union, energy, foreign policy, security and defense, including remarkable progress in agriculture and the green agenda.
One of the most difficult clusters relates to the internal market, presented by Ms. Doina Nistor, who highlighted substantial achievements but also the need to focus our efforts on advancing in several important areas such as state aid and the free movement of services, goods, and capital.
Ms. Carolina Bugaian, President of the European Business Association Moldova (EBA Moldova), who participated in the same panel, reiterated the role of the roaming system, the most important achievement for all citizens, but also the need to advance in the field of digitization and technology in communications and public services.
EBA Moldova, represented by Mariana Rufa, Executive Director, moderated the Panel dedicated to Cluster III, with the participation of Mr. Eugeniu Osmochescu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Mr. Andrian Gavrilita, Minister of Finance, Mr. Dan Perciun, Minister of Education and Research, and Mr. Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. Thus, the main achievements in the eight chapters of this Cluster were presented, as well as the priorities set for the next stage.
We extend our sincere congratulations to Ms. Cristina Gherasimov, Ms. Rodica Crudu, Mr. Marian Ghenadie, and the entire team of the Bureau for European Integration, as well as the entire cabinet of previous and current ministers for all the progress made.
