The public consultations, organized by the Parliamentary Commission for the Environment, Climate and Green Transition, on the draft amendment to Law no. 1540/1998 regarding payment for environmental pollution, registered in Parliament with no. 160 of 30.05.2023.
The REP (Extended Producer Responsibility) mechanism is currently the most effective tool both for the business environment and for the state authorities in ensuring a clean environment, the transition to a green economy by making the polluter responsible and motivating the consumer.
