Dynamic discussions with the participation of Ms. Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, and Alexandru Ciobanu, representative of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development with businesses in the Cahul region—a diverse community ranging from rural tourism, balneotherapy, agriculture, IT, light industry, etc.
The Minister presented the achievements of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova regarding business development opportunities arising from Moldova's EU accession agenda, particularly those focused on regional development, providing answers to the challenges raised by businesspeople. ODA programs were also presented, as well as other financing opportunities such as state aid, support for young employees, the benefits of the Growth Program and support in this regard, etc.
The business community reiterated the imperative of accessing the EU market in order to promote domestic products and develop production and added value at home.
The event was organized by the European Business Association Moldova in collaboration with AFAD and with the financial support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Välisministeerium.
