On April 5, EBA requested a meeting with the management team of the State Fiscal Service, in order to discuss the issues related to calculation of the environmental payment for pollution and its reporting. The meeting with the association’s members was assisted by Serghei Puscuta, Chief of the State Fiscal Service, Iuri Lichii, Deputy Chief of the State Fiscal Service, Igor Lazar, Head of the General Directorate for Duties and Taxes Methodology and Igor Stavinschi, Deputy Head of the General Directorate for Duties and Taxes Methodology.
The most important aspects that were raised by the members were the determination of the imposition subjects, correct calculation of the payments, as well as the specifics of the administration and control of the tax from the State Fiscal Service and the State Ecological Inspectorate. Moreover, the economic operators expressed their concerns for applying penalties for non-payment or presenting statements filled out inadequately.
At the end of the meeting, those present decided to continue the discussions in a new common meeting, with the presence of the State Ecological Inspectorate.
