Eastern Partnership Business Forum, held under the auspices of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council in Warsaw, Poland, brought together high-level officials and private sector representatives from the South-Eastern European region.
Michelle Iliev, State Secretary within the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDED), who participated in the opening of the event, reiterated the progress made by the Republic of Moldova on the European integration agenda, particularly in the areas of digitalization and economic development, while also acknowledging the existing challenges in this process.
A key topic of the forum was the *Ukraine Reconstruction Plan* and the mobilization of an appropriate investment framework – a process that offers significant opportunities for the Republic of Moldova as well.
As part of the visit, a dedicated meeting was held with the **Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH)**, attended by H.E. Mrs. Violeta Agrici, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Poland, Mrs. Michelle Iliev, State Secretary of MDED, Mrs. Natalia Bejan, Director of the Moldovan Investment Agency, and Mrs. Mariana Rufa, Executive Director of EBA Moldova.
