EBA organized the third session of the EU Moldova Agenda for Business series

EBA continues the dialogue on the European integration agenda and tax reforms relevant to the business environment.

The European Business Association held the third session of the EU Moldova Agenda for Business series, dedicated to the process of harmonizing national legislation with the European Union acquis and its impact on the business community.

During the session, Ms. Corina Alexa, State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, whom we thank for her openness and availability to present to the EBA community the latest news on the legislative commitments of the Republic of Moldova related to Cluster 3, Chapter 16 – Taxation.

The discussions provided EBA members with a clearer perspective on the current stages of the legislative harmonization process, the transposition priorities and the directions to be promoted in the tax field.

At the same time, the session reconfirmed the importance of proactively involving the business community in public consultation processes, so that the reforms promoted respond as best as possible to practical realities and the needs of companies.

EBA will continue to facilitate this dialogue between authorities and the business community and to contribute, through the expertise of its members, to a legislative harmonization process that is as clear, predictable and balanced as possible.
