The European Business Association (EBA Moldova) held a productive meeting with the leadership of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG ENEST) and the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova.
In the context of the newly appointed Government of the Republic of Moldova, EBA Members presented a series of policy priorities aimed at fostering economic growth and strengthening the country's business environment. These recommendations, recently compiled in the EBA Policy Priorities Briefing, have been submitted to the new Cabinet of Ministers.
During the discussions, EBA reiterated its commitment to supporting Moldova's European integration process through legal harmonization and implementation by preparing legislative initiatives, Position Papers, analytical notes, and other technical contributions.
Mr. Gert Jan Koopman reaffirmed both his personal commitment and the European Commission's continued support for Moldova's economic development, emphasizing that a strong economy is a fundamental pillar of the country's European integration. He highlighted that close cooperation between the business community and public authorities will be essential for the successful implementation of the EU–Moldova Growth Plan and the Reform Agenda.
