On April 12, EBA organized the meeting of the Banking Committee.
The meeting was organized in the context of the Draft Law amending some normative acts (Law no. 548/1995 on the National Bank of Moldova - art. 5, 10, 491; Fiscal Code no. 1163/1997 - art. 5, 254 transposing Directive (EU) 2015/2366 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on payment services in the internal market.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Corneliu Popovici, Director, VIctoriabank Legal Department and Mr. Sergiu Visternicean, Head of the MAIB Legal Department.
More than 20 representatives of the banking sector, members of the EBA, took part in the talks.
The meeting was coordinated by Cristina Garaz, Policy and Advocacy Manager.
