On 25th of June, EBA Moldova in collaboration with EBA Ukraine and AHK Romania organized the practical webinar "Sharing of experience regarding solutions applied on labor relations in the context of Covid-19".
The event was organized in the context of the fact that the issue related to the labor relations is one of the biggest concerns of the business environment during/past Covid-19; additionally, starting with March 18, EBA Moldova presented concrete proposals to amend the Labor Code aiming to more efficiently manage labor relations within companies.
Goal of event was to present the experience of international companies from Ukraine and Romania on the practical ways how to avoid unemployment and layoffs, what concrete solutions (legal amendments or at the level of internal procedures within the company) were applied in order to revise / optimize the individual employment contracts as to keep the number of employees and to honor the international orders, as well as measures taken by the private sector to protect employees (in the context of Covid-19).
