European Business Association (EBA) actively participated in the public consultations organized on the platform of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, during which the draft law on simplifying the process of documenting migrant workers and foreign investors on the territory of the Republic of Moldova was discussed.
The event was held on February 27, 2024, providing an important platform for stakeholders to express their views and provide constructive input into the drafting of the given bill.
Our participation in these consultations was essential to represent the interests and concerns of our members in the business community. During the discussions, we emphasized the importance of clear, transparent and predictable legislation regarding the documentation process of migrant workers and foreign investors, which would facilitate investment and promote sustainable economic growth.
The EBA presented its feedback and proposals for improving the legal framework, in order to contribute to the development of an effective and balanced legislation that serves the interests of both the business environment and the Republic of Moldova as a whole.
We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this consultative process and are committed to continuing our collaboration with the authorities and stakeholders to promote an enabling and stimulating business environment in the Republic of Moldova.
