EBA participated at the hearing of the Economic and Social Committee in Brussels on the Civil Society role in supporting reform under the Growth Plans for the Western Balkans, Moldova and Ukraine Reform Path

Mariana Rufa, European Business Association CEO participated at the hearing of the Economic and Social Committee in Brussels on the Civil Society role in supporting reform under the Growth Plans for the Western Balkans, Moldova and Ukraine Reform Path.
 
Mariana Rufa reiterated the imperative of the transparency and qualitative communication process which has to involve all the stakeholders such as civil society organizations, business organizations and public institutions. It was mentioned about the existing Public Private Platforms in the Republic of Moldova such as the Prime Minister Economic Council and Moldova National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum both being involved in the legal consultation processes.
 
In her Intervention Mrs. Mariana reiterated about the need for national and regional communication of the reforms promoted and implemented by involving the expertise of all the stakeholders, deregulation process of burdensome legal provisions impeding economic growth, necessary support to be given to bigger companies and SMES and digitalization of public services accompanies with proper fiscal reforms. However a crosscutting prerogative remains justice sector and rule of law reforms which is an overarching condition for socioeconomic growth of our country.
