EBA participated at the Regional Trade Facilitation Conference, in Kiev, Ukraine

On 5-6 December, EBA took part in a knowledge sharing conference in Kiev, Ukraine, organised by The World Bank Group’s Investment Climate Reform projects of Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus, supported by the Governments of Switzerland and Sweden.  

EBA executive director, Mrs. Mariana Rufa, presented the activities of the Trade Facilitation working group, presided by EBA, under the Economic Council of the Prime Minister of Republic of Moldova. She explained the mechanisms of cooperation, the issues tackled by the council, as well as the need for a closer cooperation between the public and private sector when identifying solutions.

The conference had a regional outreach, with representatives of the public and private sector from Belarus and Ukraine.
