Between September 28-29, EBA participated in the technical meetings on reviewing and drafting the texts of draft laws related to personal data protection, organized on the platform of the Economic Council, in collaboration with the EU Project "Support for Structured Policy Dialogue, Coordination of the Implementation of the Association Agreement, and Enhancement of the Legal Approximation Process”.
The technical meetings involved the participation of the associative sector as well as EU experts, Jekaterina Macuka. In this context we mention that the EBA supports the process of harmonization and promotion of the legal framework related to personal data protection with the European acquis and we reiterate that presented over 140 legislative amendments to draft laws no. 421 and no. 422.
