The European Business Association Moldova (EBA), represented by Ms. Carolina Bugaian, EBA President and Moldcell CEO, and Mariana Rufa, EBA Executive Director, participated in the 5th anniversary event of "Women for a Better Society," held in Bucharest at the Noblesse Palace.
The event brought together distinguished officials from Romania, including Mr. Bogdan Chirițoiu, President of the Romanian Competition Council, and Mr. Alexandru Petrescu, President of the Financial Supervisory Authority.
In her speech, Ms. Carolina Bugaian emphasized the active role of the private sector in generating social impact, highlighting Moldcell's experience in supporting initiatives for the digital inclusion of the elderly, education on online safety for young people, social entrepreneurship, and the economic empowerment of women.
At the same time, Mariana Rufa, Executive Director of EBA, reiterated the importance of collaboration with regional business hubs and support for companies in the regions, particularly in the process of communicating and implementing economic reforms derived from the European integration agenda.
