Dialogue to strengthen trust between taxpayers and the State Tax Service.
On May 21, 2026, EBA Moldova participated in the event organized by the State Tax Service, in partnership with PP Fiscal Monitor FISC.md dedicated to presenting the results of surveys on the level of trust of taxpayers — individuals and legal entities — in the activity of the State Tax Service.
The event provided an important framework for dialogue on the perception of the business environment on the activity of the tax authority, the quality of interaction with taxpayers, as well as the directions necessary to strengthen a partnership based on transparency, predictability and cooperation.
Within the discussion panel "Business Partnership - State Tax Service. Perceptions, results, impact", EBA was represented by Ms. Diana Ilicciev, Chairwoman of the EBA Taxation Committee, who intervened from the perspective of the business environment, emphasizing the importance of continuously improving the interaction between business and the tax authority.
EBA appreciates the openness of the State Tax Service for dialogue and consultation with the business community, as well as the efforts to assess the level of taxpayer confidence — a necessary exercise to identify progress, but also areas that require improvement.
