EBA participated at a study visit in Bucharest

Between July 19-21, the EBA represented by Eugen Cozmulici, Policy and Advocacy Manager, participated at a study visit to Bucharest in the context of the debate on the subject "Extended Producer Responsibility (REP)".

During the first day, from the agenda of the visit, the Ministry of the Environment - Romania shared its experience on the topic addressed, and operational and financial responsibilities were discussed as the main topics.

EBA is on a study visit, together with colleagues from the Environment Agency, the Environment Inspectorate, Amcham, the Customs Service, with the support of the Environment Project Implementation Unit (UIPM).

During the 2nd day, there were visits to the Environmental Fund Administration where taxes, sanctions and the financing of environmental projects were discussed, as well as to the Remat Holding car dismantling platform.
