On October 4th, EBA participated in the Meeting of the "Social Protection, Health and Family" Parliamentary Commission regarding the unclear application of the latest amendments to the Labor Code.
Following this meeting, art. will be repealed. 114, index 1, with the subsequent approval by the Government of a new regulation on how to calculate the annual vacation.
Until that moment, employers can use, based on internal documents, the old calculation formulas, which do not worsen the employees' guarantees regarding the method and calculation of annual leave - legal basis art. 10 letter f) and art. 11 of the Labor Code - solution confirmed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova and the State Labor Inspectorate.
At the same time, art. will be revised. 141, regarding the date of salary conversion from foreign currency to Moldovan lei.
