The European Business Association Moldova, represented by Carolina Bugaian, EBA President and Moldcell CEO, participated in the meeting of the Economic Council to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, chaired by Mr. Dorin Recean, Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, and Ms. Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
The purpose of the meeting was to present the achievements of the Economic Council, as well as to outline priorities in the context of Moldova's agenda for integration into the European Union and the role of each member of the Council in supporting this prerogative. Thus, Ms. Carolina Bugaian reiterated the importance and decisive role of the largest public-private dialogue platform, such as the Economic Council under the Prime Minister, in consolidating all business priorities in various sectors of the economy and actively participating in the process of policy-making and legislative harmonization in this regard.
The president reiterated that the Economic Council is the only and largest platform that requires support, development, and promotion, as it is a platform that strengthens the voice of business in its relationship with the authorities. Similarly, Ms. Bugaian brought up some of the most important achievements of this platform, involving the expertise of the business community and international best practices.
