EBA, ABM and NBM held a meeting with representatives of the banking sector regarding the implementation of open banking

EBA jointly with the Moldovan Banks Association organized a meeting with representatives of the National Bank of Moldova to facilitate the connection of national legislation to Directive (EU) 2015/2366 on payment services within the internal market (PSD2).

The mentioned event was chaired by Mr. Governor of the National Bank of Moldova - Mr. Octavian Armașu.

During the meeting, the draft NBM Regulation was discussed regarding strict customer authentication and open, common and secure communication standards between payment service providers, as well as the Strict Customer Authorization (SCA) mechanism and the API platform that will ensure the implementation of the Open concept Banking.
