
EBA presented its views on the priorities of the EBA business community related to the 2026 Fiscal Policy in the April 2025 edition of Business Class magazine.
The article highlights EBA’s active role in consulting its members and formulating a consolidated position on the proposals related to the 2026 Budgetary-Fiscal Policy and the Roadmap for improving the fiscal framework, officially submitted to the Ministry of Finance.
EBA’s position was presented by Sandra Dolghii, Policy & Advocacy Manager, together with Mrs. Diana Ilicciev, Chair of the EBA Tax Committee and Chief Accountant of Victoriabank, and Mrs. Tatiana Stavinschi, Managing Partner of SAIPH Consulting House.
Their contributions emphasize key priorities such as:
- aligning the Fiscal Code with international reporting standards;
- eliminating discriminatory tax treatments;
- ensuring a fiscal framework conducive to sustainable investments;
- ensuring coherence with EU VAT directives.
