On 27th of April, EBA Moldova hosted a business lunch with the President of the Romania Competition Council Mr. Bogdan Chirițoiu and his Team and the President of the Moldovan Competition Council Mr. Alexei Ghertescu and his team.
The Discussion was launched by Mr. Bogdan Plesuvescu President of Victoriabank, Deputy President of EBA Moldova.
The dialogue was focused on such topics as:
- Role of the Competition Council in Romania and Moldova under the new legislation on e-commerce;
- Unfair commercial practices;
- Commercial secret;
- Cartel agreements;
- Labour relations etc.
EBA Moldova expressed its openness and readiness to ensure constructive cooperation with the Competition Council aimed at increasing the competition culture in the private sector as well as participate in various legal initiatives in order to ensure proper consultation with the business community for predictability purposes.
