EBA Moldova in dialogue with Valdis Dombrovskis, European Commissioner for Economy, Productivity, Implementation and Simplification

The discussions addressed the EU-Republic of Moldova financing framework—specifically the Growth Plan and the opportunities it offers domestic companies to participate in large-scale investment projects.

Another key topic was fostering economic growth by providing financial support to companies focused on the production and export of goods and services, as well as the potential for capital market development. Discussions also covered the implementation of Pillars II and III and the development of the private pension system.

Representatives of the business community commended the Government's unprecedented efforts regarding legislative harmonization, which are preparing the Republic of Moldova for the launch of EU accession negotiations.

The private sector plays a vital role in implementing the reform agenda. Therefore, it is important that enterprises receive guidance and support throughout the Republic of Moldova's European integration process.
