The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) in cooperation with EBA Moldova and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova organized a business presentation event on new opportunities for business financing in Moldova.
The aim of the event consisted in getting to know the BSTDB and discuss business proposals during B2B meetings and matching.
BSTDB comprises 11 member states bordering or neighboring the Black Sea, including Moldova. The main goal of the bank is to promote business opportunities and business development so as to foster the economic cooperation and development in the Black Sea region. In Moldova, the BSTDB supported 16 financing projects amounting to a total of 65 million EUR, with a focus on the financial and the real sectors of the economy, especially in terms of SMEs and exports development.
In line with its mandate, the BSTDB sustains economic growth and cooperation between its members through financial assisting strategies, tailored made to each country’s profile, in several key areas:
- energy security and interconnectivity
- infrastructure
- agriculture
- manufacturing
- transportation
- telecommunications
- public utilities
- municipal services etc.
