On 17th of January, with grant support by USAID and the Swedish Government, EBA met with the representatives of the biggest sectorial business support organisations (BSOs) in Moldova. This meeting is the first phase of a new project which EBA is implementing. The scope of the project is to capacitate these organisations to be more efficient in their public-private dialogue and to develop services which would make them more sustainable.
EBA will share its experience and help organisations such as ONVV (The National Office for Vine and Wine), ATIC (Association of Information and Communications Technology), APIUS (Employers' Association of Light Industry) and ANTRIM (National Inbound Tourism Association) to effectively asses their needs. These needs will cover areas such as lobby and advocacy, business capacity building, service development and strategic management. Beside these general areas, each BSO will have the chance to get an individual approach in working with EBA.
EBA will guide and enable these organisations, since such joint efforts allow the private sector to gain a more resonant voice.
This event was organised by EBA with the support of Moldova Competitiveness Project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The content does not necessarily reflect the views of USAID, the United States Government or Sida and the Government of Sweden.
