The purpose of the meeting was to present the progress made in the Republic of Moldova’s European integration process, with a focus on harmonizing national legislation with the European Union’s acquis.
One of the points highlighted by Ms. Mariana Rufa, CEO of EBA Moldova, concerned the need to promote deregulation in parallel with the legislative harmonization process, an objective also set forth in the Growth Plan for the Republic of Moldova.
The simultaneous implementation of these processes will significantly contribute to improving the investment climate, reducing the administrative burden on the business environment, and increasing the Republic of Moldova’s attractiveness for domestic and foreign investment.
