On 21st of May, EBA representatives have met with the Directorate-General in the European Commission responsible for tax and customs issues (DG TAXUD). Among the several subjects discussed, were mentioned the issues of economic agents in their relationship with fiscal and customs authorities, assistance of EU to the development of electronic services in these areas, and other topics.
As a result of the meeting the parties have agreed to co-work in the exchange of information and other types of assistance related to the implementation of the Association Agreement on fiscal and customs matters.
