EBA supports the alignment with the Community Acquis and the connection of the normative framework of the Republic of Moldova to that of the European Union
On November 24, 2023, the EBA participated in discussions with the representatives of the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs - European Commission mission in Moldova.
EBA was represented by Sandra Dolghii, Tax Policy Manager EBA and Pavel Sarghi, Partner SAIPH Consulting House.
The main topics discussed were:
Foreign Investment: Trends and Prospects, Discussion of Existing Policies and Regulatory Framework;
Trade and business environment;
The implementation process of the new Customs Code;
The process of implementing the Transfer Pricing concept and the requalification of transactions by SFS;
The difficulties of implementing the e-Commerce concept in the Republic of Moldova;
The possible implementation solutions aimed at solving the huge queues at the customs posts at the border with Romania;
