EBA Taxation Committee meeting - actively contributing to shaping the Tax and Customs Policy for 2026

The Ministry of Finance has initiated the process of collecting proposals for amending the Tax Code No. 1163/1997, the Customs Code No. 95/2021, as well as their implementing acts.

In this context, the Taxation Committee of EBA Moldova organized a consultation meeting with business representatives in order to identify the main challenges and to outline concrete proposals for the optimization of tax and customs legislation.

The EBA remains firmly committed to public-private dialog and will submit to the Ministry of Finance a consolidated set of proposals to support a stable and predictable business environment.

We thank all EBA members for their involvement and valuable contributions! We will continue to monitor and facilitate the process of improving the tax and customs framework.
